Curatorial interpretation
Under a deep blue sky filled with small lights and a bright yellow curved moon form, a line of outlined figures stands above a ground of multicoloured signs. The mood is luminous, collective and hushed. Here the human figure is not described through anatomy but assembled from signs, so the body reads as a container of accumulated marks. The work can be read as a reflection on identity as something built over time, with personal and collective memory written onto a single form. In the exhibition it appears at position 31 (Closing), where its role is: room transition. As with all works here, the title is a curatorial working title, and details such as date, medium and dimensions await the artist's confirmation.
Look slowly
Stand with the figures: look up at the sky as they seem to, then back down to the ground.
