Signal Field — Kyu Kyu (KK-152)

First digital exhibition

Kyu Kyu
Worlds of Symbols

Larger worlds, built from smaller signs.

KK-152 · Signal Field

The exhibition

Kyu Kyu works in contemporary symbolic abstraction: bodies, villages, monuments, vessels and landscapes assembled from a shared alphabet of small hand-drawn signs.

Fragments of people, architecture, cultural memory, geometry, objects and landscapes become one visual vocabulary. This digital exhibition invites visitors to move slowly through that evolving language.

A red pulse rising from a field of signs.

Curator’s note

A large rose-red form, built from thousands of small dots, floats in the upper left above a dense black-and-white field of hand-drawn signs that fills the rest of the canvas.
