Curatorial interpretation

A broad golden field of dense small marks moves horizontally across a dark ground, opening at the right into a checkerboard semicircle beside a patterned vertical strip. The mood is warm, directional and threshold-like. The composition works like a diagram: a limited set of modules is repeated, rotated and packed until it becomes a field with its own pressure and direction. It can be read as an image of order and variation, a system that holds many small differences together. In the exhibition it appears at position 16 (ROOM III), where its role is: room transition. As with all works here, the title is a curatorial working title, and details such as date, medium and dimensions await the artist's confirmation.
