Curatorial interpretation

Rows of bottles and jars in white, black and bright blue patterning crowd the surface from edge to edge. The mood is crisp, cool and rhythmic. Everyday vessels become symbolic forms, containers not only of liquid but of habit, ritual and domestic memory. Repetition turns the still life into a quiet chorus of objects. Outside the main exhibition route, it belongs to the Explore All 60 Works collection and is best seen alongside its related works in the Objects With Inner Voices group. As with all works here, the title is a curatorial working title, and details such as date, medium and dimensions await the artist's confirmation.
