Curatorial interpretation

Golden-yellow vessels and house-like forms, outlined in black, cluster across a violet ground with small blue accents. The mood is festive, warm and abundant. Architecture is reduced to repeatable units such as roofs, doors, windows and facades, so the painting behaves like a map as much as a view. It invites a reading of community as rhythm: many small dwellings forming one shared place. Outside the main exhibition route, it belongs to the Explore All 60 Works collection and is best seen alongside its related works in the Cities Of Signs group. As with all works here, the title is a curatorial working title, and details such as date, medium and dimensions await the artist's confirmation.
